Year after year, for more than 30 years, we have been implementing concrete measures for our hotel:
- Electric charging station (3kW and up-to 22kW) for electric or hybrid car
- Reduction of electricity consumption: low consumption LED bulbs, motion sensor lighting in the corridors
- Window opening detection with immediate shutdown of the radiator (implemented in 1991, when the hotel opened)
- Optimization of water consumption: installation of flow reducers on taps and showers, double volume flushing system
- Solar panels for the production of hot water, certified by ADEME,
- Collecting rainwater for watering the garden
- Sorting of waste: recycling and compost, remains valued by our hens
- Reuse of pruning products for plants and shrubs as soil amendment and for mulching
- Recovery of corks, capsules valued by an association
- Zero single-use plastic
- Use of ecological cleaning products
- Eco-certified or eco-labeled soaps and bath products
- Short circuits and enhancement of local products for breakfast
- Sending invoices by e-mail
- Sensitization of our team to sustainable development
- Sensitization of our customers to ecological gestures
Our very flowery garden provides shelter and food for many insects, and we have installed pergolas with a green roof
